Easy Eyes with Destination Beauty

We all know that when we find a new color or look, we feel rejuvenated and fresh. After the long hours and hard work that came with working a major event, I needed a boost. So, I went to my makeup bag and started to play with the newest color releases — Destination Beauty, the Motives Spring/Summer 2012 Collection from Motives by Loren Ridinger.

How to get great eyes with Destination Beauty from Motives by Loren RidingerI found myself drawn to the mint green Utopia Pressed Eye Shadow. I began by pressing Utopia from my lash line to above my crease, with a little under my eye, like an eyeliner. This gave my eye a wash of color that is so on-trend for the season.

To add a little “point of interest,” I added a strip of Mykonos Blue Pressed Eye Shadow to only the center of my lid. As a highlighter, I added Moroccan Spice Pressed Eye Shadow to my brow and the inner corners of my eyes. To finish, I lined my upper and lower lashes with Motives Khol Eyeliner in Onyx and (of course) applied mascara to my top and bottom lashes.

For the lips, I used my new favorite item (which is so hard to choose, because we have so many great products!), Motives Pucker Up Lip Plumper in Tango. The red-orange gave my look the final touch it needed to look very fashionably-Spring.

My new look has re-energized me so well, I don’t need to travel for an escape!

What do you think of Amanda’s look with Destination Beauty? What look will you go for?
