One of my favorite trends for the summer is being able to wear bright makeup. Its a perfect time to add a little pop of color to your makeup because summer is all about fun – and what is more fun than adding some wild colors!
If you’re like me, it takes a lot of trial and error on how to achieve this great fun look for summer. For this post, I am going to share with you all some of my favorite ways to brighten up my look for summer!
1.) Line your eyes in Color
Lining your eyes in a bright and bold color is a great way to learn how to wear bright makeup in summer! It’s also super easy to do! For me, it’s all about the turquoise; make my brown eyes really pop!

2.) Tomato color Lips!
Believe it or not, but a little red lipstick with some orange in it is the trick on how to wear bright makeup in the summer! It’s also a great way to really brighten up your entire face! Try Motives Rich Formula Lipstick in Tomato Red – I can promise that you will love it and will probably wear this lipstick all throughout the summertime!

3.) Highlight the inner corner of your eye
One neat trick when you are learning how to wear bright makeup in the summer is actually highlighting the inner corner of your eyes. Just take a little bit of your brightly colored eyeshadow – try using Motives Pressed Eyeshadow in Mykonos Blue and dot in the inner corner of your eyes. This will draw attention to your eyes and it looks so cool.

4.) Don’t forget the outside
Let’s say you don’t want to do the inner corner, you want to do the outer corner. That’s fine too! This is one of the greatest ways when you are learning how to wear bright makeup! Just a little dot of that bright shadow along the inner or outer corner and you’ll see a huge difference in how your eyes look!

5.) Peach Colored Blush
Blush is one of those products that you might not think about when you are thinking about tips on how to wear bright makeup but it can absolutely brighten up your face! Just a little peach colored blush along the apples of your cheeks can absolutely highlight your cheekbones and really bring out any and all of your features!
6.) Purple eye shadow!
I actually love purple eyeshadow and I gotta say ladies, it is one of the best ways on how to wear bright makeup in the summer! Purple is hot this summer and if you want an easy way to brighten up your makeup, this is the way to do it! Whether it is bright, brilliant purple or pale, lilac purple, just use a little and see what happens!

7.) Colored Mascara
Finally, the last tip on how to wear bright makeup throughout the summer that we are going to talk about is colored mascara. There are tons of different colors that you can wear that are mascara and I promise, they all will look beautiful!
